It’s fire season, and there’s no doubt that this is one of our craziest years yet. More acreage has burned than ever before, and it seems as if our entire state is being affected in one way or another. We may seem powerless when it comes to protecting ourselves, loved ones, and essential workers from the detriment of the fires, but there are indeed ways to become involved in the fight. 

This crazy summer heatwave coupled with my lack of wanting to cook creates the perfect opportunity to use a classic kitchen appliance: a blender.
