It's In The Details: Etta + Billie Scent Stories and Packaging Highlight

As many of you might know, Etta + Billie products are inspired by real life flavors and experiences that have brought me immense joy. I stumbled into the world of natural body care while working a job that left me feeling lost. At a time when I was unsure about what direction to take, I found brewing up apothecary products in my kitchen gave me purpose. Batch after batch, inspiration came from my other passion: food. Lavender shortbread became Lavender Soap. Coffee with fresh mint became Cold Brew Mint Coffee Scrub. Cardamom Old Fashioned became Grapefruit Cardamom Body Oil. Soap experiments have led me to grow my product line, experiment with seasonal scent creations, and even collaborate with unique restaurant and beverage pros, as well as with artisan food brands. 

Packaging Details 

On every product, I take extra time to highlight the apothecary and ingredient benefits. My soap has a "notes of" section that shares some insights into my creation. For example, my Geranium Patchouli Soap was inspired by my time living in San Francisco and being in the Haight Ashbury - where patchouli oil fills the air. My Geranium Patchouli scent formulation pays homage to the Summer of Love - and the lasting history is has on San Francisco! 

Beauty in The Story 

Many of my experimental and limited edition soaps are inspired by cocktails, travels, or seasonal activities that you yearn for all year round. When my business moved from San Francisco to the central coast (Ventura, CA to be specific), I was so struck by the salty and citrusy aromas in the air, that I created an entire soap creation to celebrate it. This soap is a rich blend of sea salt, grapefruit, and eucalyptus all blended with our signature Etta + Billie soap ingredients. The Gold Coast Soap not only awakens your senses with fresh eucalyptus and grapefruit, but rich minerals from sea salt will nourish your skin. 

Limited Edition Soaps

It's always fun to recall some of the unique and novel soap creations I've done when looking ahead at a new year of body care! 2021 was a year of experimentation - with release our new Almond Rosemary Cocoa Soap, re-releasing The Gold Coast, Negroni, and Gin + Tonic Soap - and even having a crowd sourced soap that my followers designed and NAMED themselves, our Garden Party Soap. And as cold winter months carry on (and holidays come to a total close), I get so excited to prepare for the return of my specialty spring and summer scents!
